WHAT IS UWPS.BE ?

An important requirement of the EN-1090 standard from EXC2 is the use of welding method descriptions (WPS) with valid welding method qualification reports (WPQR) during production. The problem for many manufacturers is that qualifying the WPQR is a very time consuming and expensive undertaking.

That is why uWPS.be has developed a number of affordable products under the approval of the German inspection company TÜV Rheinland that allow you to qualify the welding process in a simple and efficient way in accordance with the EN-1090 EXC2 standard. Great attention was paid to quality and accessibility. In contrast to the existing products on the market, which often have technical limitations or depend on the brand of welding wire or welding machine, uWPS.be products are completely universal and can be used for any brand of welding machine and/or filler material.

In concrete terms, uWPS.be offers a complete set of approved reports based on EN-15612/15614, which can be used by everyone, from the small SME to the large multinational.

WPS

Welding Procedure Specification or welding method description in accordance with EN-15609.
This is a production document prepared by the welding coordinator and containing all necessary parameters
to be able to make the quality weld, such as weld preparation, filler material, setting welding machine,...

uWPS

This is an inspection document in accordance with EN-15612: "Standard Welding Procedure" drawn up by an independent inspection company.
On the basis of this document, welding method descriptions (WPS) can be drawn up according to your specific product.

WPQR

This is an inspection document in accordance with EN-15614: "Procedure Qualification Record".
This welding method qualification report is an extensive document of a welding test that has been welded by uWPS.be under the supervision and tested by an independent inspection company.

Configure

You can set up different WPS's yourself from a single uWPS/WPQR. Or set up a broad WPS that is qualified by different uWPS/WPQR. You have the same freedom whether you would have welded the WPQR yourself.
Every uWPS/WPQR comes with some customizable sample WPS's to make it easy for you.

uWPS.be offers you dozens of uWPS and WPQR, welded under supervision and tested by the German inspection company TÜV Rheinland. All these uWPS and WPQR have been drawn up and tested as extensively as possible:
